Ministerial Formation

Ministerial formation is one of our priorities in theological education. We, therefore, impart the following trainings to equip our students; so that they can effectively and challengingly present the Word of God to whomever they minister.

  • Church Ministry: The students are encouraged and assigned to visit different churches in and around Pfutsero Town. In this way, our students participate in church ministries at various levels.
  • Hospital Ministry: The students visit Hospitals and pray together with the patients, doctors and nurses and also extend a small help from the fund raised by Missionary Society of the College.
  • Home Visitation: The College organizes home visitation for students, faculty and staff, who visit all the families in Pfutsero Town once in a year. They read the word of God for the family, share and give counseling. They offer prayers for the family. The students are interested and capable in home visitation ministry.
  • Gospel Touring: Every year, in the first week of September (BTC Week), all the lecturers and students go for preaching tour to different Churches; interacting with church leaders and visiting homes. This challenges us to think deeper and work harder to meet the needs of people with the Gospel.
  • Music Training: Fundamental Music Course is given to all the students. They are taught as how to lead and conduct choir and play musical instruments.
  • These activities enable the students to be equipped for the ministry of the Gospel of Christ.

Instilling Missionary Zeal:

  • Mission experts from within India and abroad are brought to instill missionary zeal in the students. Further, mission activities are organized and carried out within and outside Pfutsero Town.
  • Missionary Training Centre
  • The College has set up Missionary Training Centre. Under this project, Refresher courses to Missionaries, Evangelists and local Mission Leaders and pastors are offered.
